My Conklin line reaches back to David Conklin Sr. 1760-1854 (275481626), who settled a 67-acre farm at Hartford (Croton) Ohio in 1819. Coincidentally, my mother was adopted by Clarks at age 6, and Ralph Clark was a descendant of Strong Clark 1792-1874 (39123000), who settled a 100-acre farm adjacent to David's in 1814. So far, my contributions to findagrave have been focused on those two lines, primarily because information regarding David was so incomplete, and I happened to inherit a cache of early photos and other items from the Clarks.
