What prompted this pursuit? First, the early and unfortunate death of my mother, Jonye Ruth Curry Patterson. Second, general curiosity: who are we, where do we come from? Third, an obligation I feel to gather about my family who enabled this glorious present. Fourth, a further obligation to share these riches with others, present and yet to be born, giving them meaning in life. Fifth, a faith, with the happy hope that we may be reunited in spirit, somehow, someway.
