A Service brat, my father had us moving all over the country from Alaska to Texas to Wilmington, Ohio and i went to so many schools, which in a way proved interesting as i had the good fortune to meet many types of strange kids, who were as screwed up as i was.

Spent a good amount of time in Lumberport West Virginia, but don't hold that against me. My Dad was from there. My dad's mother was a daughter of Joshua Barnes. A civil war Union soldier, who happened unfortunately to be fighting for the wrong side. I'm a Florida boy so i can say that.

Anyway … So i've always had this photo of Joshua Barnes and it's the only picture known of him. Also i had his signature, he signed countless pension papers and so did his wife , Rachel i believe.
