I'm a long-time researcher of my own family history, and many of my memorials are my direct relations. If you have a closer relationship to any of them than I do, I'm happy to transfer them to you.

In addition to caring for the memorials of my family, my chief goal is to link family members together and to that end to make Find a Grave more helpful to users who are seeking those links.

When requesting edits, it would be much appreciated if you would provide the reasons for the requests, i.e. please cite the source(s) of your information that differs from the memorial's content and/or the reasons you think your proposed information should be added to it.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not my sibling, niece, nephew, first cousin, or immediate member of my first cousin's family and you suggest edits for my immediate family (parents, grandparents, great grandparents, siblings and their spouses, aunts, uncles, or first cousins) that are contrary to my personal experience with or knowledge of their history, THE EDITS WILL BE DECLINED. Not all "official records" or obituaries are completely accurate. For example, in dealing with a family death I learned from the county coroner that the date of death on a death certificate may be the "found on" date and not the actual death date. In this example the coroner, police detectives, and undertaker agreed death occurred three days before the body was found, but the coroner was required by law to list the "found on" date as the official date of death. Please know I have been diligent in ensuring accuracy for memorials of the above listed family relationships.

A final note of observation: History is history. What was, happened -- we can't change it. We can only learn from it.
