I love honoring my ancestors this way and love doing genealogy. With all the resources that are available it makes it quite easy to honor and remember their legacy. I hope someone does this for me when I am gone. I love history (one of my majors in college), and what it teaches me about my ancestors legacy. I am glad the Morman church taught me the importance of genealogy, although I am no longer a practicing LDS member.
This is a great hobby that I feel will make a difference someday. And for those who's genealogy I have been able to record, know their legacy is honored and lives on. You are no longer just a headstone, or some record buried in a file cabinet, your legacy is recorded here and on Wiki tree for all to see.
