Genealogist, with interest in WW1 and the social history of the working classes in Kent. Looking for the small, broken, degraded, fallen or buried memorials, to try to piece together their story before they are lost to time.

Unlike the number-chasers creating empty shells of memorial pages, I do at least try to write a basic bio, transcribe the inscription and link each new memorialised subject to their extended family. For this reason, it sometimes takes me a couple of weeks to finish building a memorial and then return to GPS the site. (If I have not placed a flower on the memorial, you may assume that I am still building it).

The research upon the military memorials that I am caretaker of is all my own, and has been put together using historical records that I have transcribed to the best of my ability. That said, I am not a military expert, merely an enthusiastic amateur, therefore please keep this in mind when using the information. If I am caretaker of a memorial for one of your relatives, please ask and I would be happy to transfer them to you (unless they are close relatives of mine).
