I've had a unique opportunity to meet many older people in my family as a child, because I was adopted and raised by my grandparents. I remember traveling to these older friends and relatives' homes, and having them visit us. I overheard a lot of conversations about the good old days. I wish I had listened more and asked more questions, but I was just a kid, and had no idea that I'd be interested in genealogy someday. Happily , my grandparents left many old photos which were eventually entrusted to me. I'm here trying to add as many details as I can to the memories of as many people as I can, while I can. I can only hope that it helps somebody else who is searching for information on those who are gone now.
