As an aside, PLEASE do not use the pre-programmed FindAGrave rank prefixes for Civil War memorials. Those particular rank prefixes (SGT, CPT, LTC, etc.) were only devised in 1958, and as such are not appropriate for the Civil War era. Proper Civil War rank prefixes include:

-Private: Pvt.

-Corporal: Corp. or Corpl.

-Sergeant: Sergt.

-First Sergeant: 1st Sergt.

-Drum Major or Fife Major: no abbreviation

-Hospital Steward: Hosp. Steward

-Ordnance Sergeant: Ord. Sergt.

-Commissary Sergeant: Comsy. Sergt. or Comm. Sergt.

-Quartermaster Sergeant: Q.M. Sergt.

-Sergeant Major: Sergt.-Major

-2d Lieutenant: 2d Lieut.

-1st Lieutenant: 1st Lieut.

-Captain: Capt.

-Major: no abbreviation necessary

-Lieutenant Colonel: Lieut. Col.

-Colonel: Col.

-Brigadier General: Brig. Gen.

-Major General: Maj. Gen.
