Woodinville Cemetery is a pioneer cemetery that continues to actively serve the residents of Woodinville.

We welcome thoughtful suggestions and contributions; however, we approach all memorials—especially recent burials—with the utmost respect and sensitivity for families. Information for newer memorials is added only after a headstone is in production, and details published must appear on the marker itself or be easily verified through public records. For older burials, additional historical information is often available and may be included.

In the past, original cemetery records were lost in a fire. An effort was later made to recreate a burial map based on available information. Using this recreated map, the cemetery placed small white markers to indicate graves believed to be unmarked. Over time, it has been discovered that some burials shown on the recreated map are incorrect, and that certain early Woodinville residents were buried elsewhere. The cemetery is actively working to verify burials, correct errors, and update records with the goal of maintaining the most accurate burial list and map possible.

Please note that there is another historic cemetery in Woodinville located near Maltby Road. Incorporated in 1910 as Grace Cemetery, it retained that name until approximately 1939, when it became known as Bear Creek Cemetery. Some early Woodinville residents are buried there rather than at Woodinville Cemetery.
