Hi, my name is Chris and I live in WA. I have used FindaGrave for many years for doing family history research.

I was prompted to join when my grandfather's grave popped up as a suggestion in Ancestry and the details were so not correct. I pondered on it a few days and then requested the memorial transfer to me which was promptly done. I have been requesting transfers of other close family members and linking them, or just suggesting updates.

I thought I would most likely stop at close family, but I have become a bit obsessed with updating details and linking other family and ancestors, after thorough research, as far back as I can find memorials. It breaks my heart to see lonely memorials with little or no detail and or no relatives shown. It is addictive and very satisfying to be able to update.

Thank you to those members who have added my family memorials and the thousands and thousands of others. I am amazed at the amount of work, time and effort some of you have put into making this precious info available to all.
