Bio
*** Due to an extended illness, I forgot the email address I used for this site and don't know how to transfer my memorials from my old account to this account, my new one. If you know, please write. Thank you.
That cat you see is Pearl. She mostly reclines all day, trying to store up energy so she can shoot us with her eyeball laser beams. As you can see.
This account is a work in progress. I became very ill years ago, and it lasted a bit. Now, I can't remember my old email address and have no idea how to reclaim the family pages I created. I'm creating a virtual cemetery for them. That's my adoptive family, who gave me the gifts of Greek food, dance, and "My Big, Fat Greek Wedding", which could have been my biography. Except for the Windex.
Plus, there's a whole other thing about the Italian part of my family. Yay!
---------
I'm here because I love history, and cemeteries are wonderful places to learn, think, explore. I tried to instill in my children (grown now) the same respect and interest. It's not from a sense of morbidity; you know that, too.
I'm determined to leave a flower, angel, or toy on as many baby and child memorial pages as I can, especially ones that have none.
***Please do not leave crosses or other Christian-themed pictures on the pages of people who are not Christian, especially victims of the Holocaust. (They were butchered because they were Jewish.) This also includes those of the Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, etc. faiths. It's disrespectful. If you're unsure, just leave flowers.***
My "The Miscellaneous" virtual cemetery is comprised mostly of pages for those who have no or few flowers on their pages (especially children). It's a reminder: we all, each of us, have spent some time on this whirling blue marble. Eventually, no one will be alive who remembers us. This is a way to keep the forgotten less so.
My favorite part of life is knowing while someday it will end, someone new will arrive to carry on. So make the most out of the teeny, tiny time we have here. You never know who you'll inspire, and that's the greatest gift you can give humanity.
________
I love to laugh, even here. I MAY leave tokens that MAY seem slightly inappropriate. I mean no harm. I read the bios and try to leave something fitting. If you feel it's wrong, please let me know, and I will remove it. (with grave ID please)
