Many years ago my Maternal Grandmother, Hazel (LOUNSBERRY) HOPPE authored two books about growing up in rural Bethany Connecticut. She had researched her family genealogy as part of that effort and as a young child it fascinated me to learn about the "people who got me here." I work hard to find actual reference sources that can prove out my family tree, only considering information without sufficient proof as breadcrumbs worth chasing to see if they can be support by cold hard facts.

I JUST RECENTLY decided to try and publish some memorials for my direct family lines in hopes I can share some of my research with a broader community so that it can POSSIBLY help fill in some deeper holes and disconnects that have been brick walls to my efforts.

I am not sure if I will remain a member and Memorial "Manager" or not, we will see how much good or bad information and/or feedback I receive and go from there! ;-)

For NOW... I truly HOPE that I can at least pay tribute and offer positive thoughts and stories of the direct family members responsible for placing me on this planet we call Earth!
