My gran loved this community: I'm doing this for her and I have the utmost respect for the people who rest in our cemeteries. Also researching my mostly North East family history. Lived in Castletown for several years.

All graves in St Leonards, Silksworth prior to 2020 are now photographed. Several graves are unidentifiable because the metal plaques with the deceased information are missing and the cemetery book is long lost. Now that I know how to do gps, I will eventually add it to graves, but working on St Matthew's first. Castletown will be after that and possibly others. Visits may depend on how long the grass is as there are uneven ground issues!
