So, when I die...

I don't want you, to cry;

Because I am not crying over any of you,

I apologize, I just won't have time to--

You see this time, when I go to Heaven, I am not coming back;

And, I, sincerely mean that!

Yes, I will be alright! I will be okay!

From this mean,wicked, old world, I will fly away!

I have tried to be an inspiration, tried to be good--

I hope the time I was on this earth, I wasn't misunderstood...

Done lived my best --

But, it is time for me, to take my deserved rest

The angels, they will yell, "Come on!"

They been waiting on me for so long.

No longer will I have fear;

As I did when I was down here.

Never again, will I be alone--

Heaven is my eternal home!

Streets paved in gold!

Nobody in this city...we don't never grow old!

I will be surrounded in all His light --

It will be so beautiful! It will be so bright!

I will bow my head, the tears roll off my face!

And I will thank, the Lord, His name, Jesus, for allowing me to live with Him, in such a beautiful place!

Can't you hear? The angels they sing:

"Glory! Hallelujah!" Unto our King!

When I get to Heaven, what a time that will be--

For there will be a crown waiting on me!
