Christine (Carter) Greco 1/25/1972, mom of Carter & Kinan Greco, wife to Pat Greco, sister to David & Darrell Carter & Barbara Boje, daughter to Kathryn Lee (Duffee) Carter, Granddaughter to Ida (Heist) & Dewey Duffee, Great Granddaughter to Anna (Shuttleworth) & John Heist. Great Great granddaughter to Samuel & Alice (Butters) Heist, Great Great Great Granddaughter to Adam & Melinda (Keller) Heist and Great Great Great Great Granddaughter to Christian & Rosanna Heist. I love to learn about all my relatives, where they lived, stories about them and more. One of my Mom's High School friends, Dixon Stevens, was huge into genealogy and he helped to find some info out about my family. My Great Aunt Ethel Grames and her husband Lloyd were also into researching and they found a lot on our family tree. All three of them have passed away so I wanted to start my own research and gather as much information that I can find on all who came before me. My dear friend, Pat Gore has been helping me and she showed me this site.
I was born in Fairbanks, AK, lived in Anderson, AK until the summer of 1989 where I moved to Carthage, NY. Went to College at SUNY Potsdam for my Undergrad where I double majored in Psychology and Elementary Education. Taught in Canastota/Chittenango/Syracuse NY. I received my Masters Degree in Reading from SUNY Oswego in 2000. I was married in 1999, had my first son in 2004 and then we moved to Palmer, Alaska. My second son was born in 2007. I love being a Mom, I love to volunteer & serve the community and it is my passion to help train up others to serve and give back to their community. I spent 6 1/2 years being my Mother's caregiver as we helped her to live each day to the fullest while struggling with Alzheimer's. I couldn't make it through life without my full trust in Jesus Christ and I try to live each day sharing His love with everyone I come in contact with.
