I am a photographer and memorial manager on Find A Grave. I joined 4th August 2024. Over my lifetime here, I've created 13k+ memorials and uploaded 31k+ photos. I've contributed majorly to Altona Memorial Park and Fawkner Memorial Park in Australia. The goal in mind? Get the photograph number to 90% (without using too much fuel in driving).

I do need some help at Altona so please volunteer taking photos if you can. Msg me and I'll give some details.

Fawkner Memorial Park photos to upload (I don't want this area anymore but I need to add them before I remove everything.

TIP: Fawkner Memorial Park is the biggest cemetery in Victoria, but there are still areas needing grave photos digitalised. A large majority are specific-cultural areas (e.g. Greek, Ukrainian) or denominations (e.g. Orthodox, Roman Catholic). It's cause they can be:

• Newly-established within the cemetery.
• Headstones contain foreign language that is not English (and it's sometimes very difficult to digitalise on this website)
• A large portion are not marked with deceased's names
• Volunteers will bias to certain areas that fit to them, neglecting other areas that require photographs.

I have created a map for every section in Fawkner Memorial Park based on how much was photographed. If you want a copy, let me know and I can send it through. Know it's since Jan 2026 and I don't keep track on all sections, so please check before on Find A Grave non-grave photos compared to grave photos before going yourself.

NOTE: I focus on getting a photo of the burial site with any structures, as well as a headstone close-up photo sometimes. I try my best to give quality photos however can differ for memorials of the deceased.

If it's marked as a grave photo, then it's a photo of the grave at some capacity, sometimes they won't have headstones or other structures at the location.

Please do not distribute my photos in any way without permission. Exception is for for ancestry trees ONLY (Please include my username and ID in the description). If a plot grave photo is available but is missing on another's memorial, let me know and I'll add it myself.

I ask you if you're going to contribute to any memorials I create, please follow rules including website guidelines and relevant laws, including photo copyright laws. If I find you added a photo that isn't yours or you don't have authorisation to add it, you will be asked politely to remove it. This is all I ask and not hard to follow.

Contributing to my memorials?

Uploading a funeral notice or death notice? It could be at risk of plagiarism if the funeral notice isn't modified due to intellectual property copyright laws. If you copy and paste an edit, I will edit to remove living people for privacy reasons and so it's more biography-friendly.

If I made a memorial of another person that already exists on Find A Grave, please report this with the report duplicate feature. Duplicate memorials are not intentional, it could've been accidentally created from cemetery search typos, date differences from either and headstone vs burial records name differences.

𝓡𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓻𝓾𝓵𝓮𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓵𝓼

As a memorial creator I have to follow Find A Grave's terms and conditions. If you are a memorial creator and contributor, you also have to follow these rules. I have included some of the basics:

• In Australia, anyone who is serving or has served in the Australian Defence Force is considered a veteran. If they haven't died during service, including their last rank as prefix is incorrect and their last rank should be written in the memorial.
• Follow correct ways to create memorials. Those cremated and collected from cemeteries should be listed under 'Not buried in a cemetery'. If you're adding cemetery information is indexed in, you're saying they are buried/located there which is incorrect.
• As per Find A Grave, burial information must be exact and accurate. No assuming someone is buried wherever because they died within that area. None of us want inaccurate information.
