I am a professional photographer in Cape Coral, Fl. I came upon Findagrave several years ago when I tried to search for my parents' grave site. I was grateful that some stranger took the time to upload their photo.
A month ago, I found out that my lover back in 1980 passed away 30 years ago. That was a shock to me. We were so in love but somehow drifted apart as young lovers often do. I found her grave and saw the photo posted by Patty G. Got in touch with her and she taught me the basics of being a contributor.
In Catherine (Katie's) honor and memory, I hope to ease some other loved one's pain by being a volunteer.
