When the Hegi clan came over from Switzerland, they settled in Faulkner County, Arkansas, and they are still there, to this day. Sadly, my parents took me away from there.

When my Owen ancestors came over from the British Isles, they began moving west until they decided that Fannin County, Texas was their little piece of Heaven. Sadly, the Owens were a restless bunch, and have scattered like the wind to every corner of this country.

When my parents met in Oklahoma, they mixed the Hegi's and the Owen's to create me. It is my goal to understand how those two peoples have left their mark on these United States.

That is my goal when preserving an accurate history of their path from Europe to America.
