My name is Martha Im doing family history on my Guice / Guise /Geis family line along with the Mathews line. My great grandparents were John Jerome Guice and Martha Mathews Guice their children were Dotson Jerome Guice , Donna Marie Guice Carr and John Ernistine Guice. John Jerome Guice was born to Adam Guise / Guice and Augusta Shultz Both born in Germany and both Buried in Kansas I have traced down every one of their children and many grandchildren . the Guise/ Guice has been my main search . but now I'm starting on Marthas side of the family She was born in Kansas as well to Lucinda and Lewis Dotson Mathews I have stared finding many of her siblings and grandparents and parents . I do a lot of research and tracking and tracing . But proper info is better then the half or miss leading info. My grandfather was Dotson Jerome Guice son of Martha and John . Learning information on him has been very interesting to say but in the end he did turn his life around and that's all that matters he had a very hard patch it seems after his mother and father past away but in 1951 he married my grandmother Doris Audrey Allred and they had 2 children Dotson Jerome Guice Jr ( Jay ) and Donna Marie Guice ( my bio mother ) I was very lucky to have been raised by my grandmother Doris who was by all accounts my mom grandma and best friend she past in 2005 My grandfather past in 1973 I was the only grandchild he would ever get to see before he past in 1973 he named me after his mother and daughter he had with wife Maxine Addis
