As an only child, I sometimes think that my ancestors are my ancestors only, but really they are the ancestors of hundreds, maybe thousands of other people.....my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and so on.

You have my permission to copy any of my pictures from this website (no need to ask). They are all of our family. If you notice any mistakes, please let me know so I can make corrections. I will probably transfer management to you if you are a relative. Just ask.

When suggesting edits, please indicate where you found the information (obituary, online research, personal knowledge, etc).

I got interested in genealogy when I was about 13. I was confused about "who were all these people at the annual family reunion?" and "how was I related to them?" They were my Grandma's 13 brothers and sisters and their families. I asked Grandma lots of questions and she helped me make sense of it all by writing it down. She helped me write a book and I included wedding pictures of her siblings, and names/dates of all their children. Twenty years later, I made a second edition of the book with updates, more people, and many more pictures. I made copies of both books (not for profit) for any of my family who wanted ones. Maybe one day, a cousin or I will update it again.

That same Grandma kept some amazing scrapbooks with pictures and obits. I've added some of those to this website. Grandma preserved our history, so I'm doing my best to share that information here. My profile picture is my Grandma, visiting graves at the cemetery.
