I'm fairly new at this and am learning something new every day. If you notice that I seem to adding the same pictures it's because I want to show the family any deterioration or damages to the headstones. Sometimes it doesn't feel like I'm making much progress. However, I have uploaded the GPS, Block, Lot, and Space information for most of Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill to FAG. I've also located and uncovered over 30 headstones there that have sank beneath the surface. My goal is to update all of the cemeteries in Marshall County. So far I have updated to the best of my abilities Woodberry, the Madill Cemetery, Oakland, Old Oakland Cemetery, Keel, McMillan, Pickens, I. Hunter Pickens, Pruitt Family Cemetery and Knob Hill. My grandchildren think my new hobby is weird and kind of creepy. They asked me why I couldn't be like normal grandmothers with hobbies like playing bingo or going to the casinos! I am currently trying to update the Kingston Cemetery. My goal is to photograph every headstone and I've done about 60% so far. It's taking me longer because of this Oklahoma heat. Old age and heart issues are slowing me down too. If there are any memorials of your family members that you wish to have, please feel free to request them from me.
