I love history. To read about the challenges our ancestors faced in the 1800s makes me feel closer to knowing them, and appreciate the "luxuries" we enjoy today..like running water, indoor plumbing,, electricity..and even safer journeys riding in a vehicle, rather than an open buggy or in a sleigh..when wolves roamed about.
