I live in Virginia, USA, but try to also fill requests whenever I travel somewhere else. It's fun, actually!

*I don't think we should create memorials for people who might still be living. It's known that sometimes people have names of the living etched on a stone if one family member passes away. I run across this now & then & it has created issues after creating what I thought was a new memorial after taking photos & not finding an existing memorial ... turns out women remarried after the original photo was taken & had a different last name & a new grave marker when I came around the cemetery. Not to mention that I would cringe to find a page for myself here! If the birth date on the headstone is so long ago that the person is obviously no longer living then, of course, have at it! Otherwise I don't think we should be creating memorials for potentially living people just because their name is on a headstone.*

Please request a transfer if you're a relative of one of my memorials. I'll transfer as long as I'm not also a relative & even then would consider a transfer depending on relationship. I have no interest in accumulating memorials. I'd rather people who know families be able to tie parents, children & siblings together. I do photograph newer burials that I come across in case no one has done it already but I find it most satisfying & challenging filling others' requests for photos. And since many memorials don't have location info, I'm also interested in updating memorials with GPS coordinates by posting my own photo. Unfortunately sometimes that means I post a duplicate photo but I try to be creative & post something slightly different if I have an alternative photo.
