Brand new at the family tree business!! very excited :)

I am very close to Philips Park Cemetery and am willing to go looking most days, unfortunately the Roman Catholic section is in a poor state, this is because in 1872 the River Medlock flooded the Roman Catholic side and washed away most of the graves (and bodies!) some being found miles away in the city centre, this is Locally known as the 'coffin flood'. It is a real historical tragedy. I will try my best to get you something.
