A native of Mitchell, Indiana, Warren Edgar Fleetwood is a community leader, President of Evansville Junior Chamber of Commerce, town councilman, county commissioner, published poet, author, and contributor of social, political, and literary writings.

Much of his poetry focuses on blue collar "Kmart Realism" and observing our personal, cultural, and physical landscapes. He currently resides in Fort Branch, Indiana , and is completing his 28th year of teaching Literature at both the college and public school levels.
