I was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1964 and have spent most of my life in the area. I attended Pretty Water School and then graduated from Sapulpa High School.

I served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and then the Army. I spent time in Lawton; Kirchgoins, Germany; and Panama. I then returned to the Sapulpa Area.

I became interested in genealogy after the loss of my father in 2024. Through Find-A-Grave, I was better able to cope with his loss. I could access his memorial page at any time. I hope to be able to help others the same way.

It saddens me to find a grave without a headstone or marker. Something to show this person lived. I know they are difficult to afford but something to remember this person's life besides a name on a list.
