I'm a resident of GA, enjoying the twists and turns of genealogical research as I trace my lineage through the history of the amazing country the Lord saw fit to put me in. My profile name is my nickname and original spelling of my maiden name. I've chosen not to use my legal name due to a stalking situation. I've chosen to not use a profile photo for the same reason. Who would have guessed that a Senior citizen could drive a mentally ill person to such behavior but it is what it is. I'm a mother of 4 married children and grandmother of 12. My DNA is predominately Great Britain and Germanic and I'm learning that both maternal and paternal ancestors have been here a very long time, as far back as 1620. I have ancestors that have served in every military conflict since before the this country was a country. I am a patriot and fly Old Glory with pride! I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and have ancestors that were in the War of 1812, Union Army, the Confederacy, WWI and WWII. Happy Searching to all! There is DNA evidence that Abraham Lincoln and I are 2nd Cousins 4x removed and I'm somehow related to William Whipple, a signer of the Declaration of Independence so I'm determined to document those relationships.
