A young woman who enjoys visiting cemeteries and studying history. It's beyond a morbidly inclined hobby (nothing wrong with seeing the beauty of morbid things, anyway—that's literally why I'm on here). I enjoy commemorating lost and forgotten souls and putting a story to people's former lives…so I figured it's only right I finally join this site and continue honoring the ones before us through my work. I'm also on a personal genealogy quest to discover my roots beyond USA and Jamaica's soils.

Outside of this, I'm a writer, multidisciplinary artist, and postmodern beatnik. Some of my core themes are death, nature, fantasy, alienation, identity, and obscurities from a lens of Black womanhood.

Naturally, these themes inform my cemetery research practice, as Black women and girls are often the most likely to be forgotten when they pass away. My goal on here, and offline, is to remedy this by highlighting and reviving these names and giving them a new life.
