Hi, I am a certified genealogist and fellow of the Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society. I studied heraldry and genealogy in France, Italy, the Vatican, and at a U.S. Catholic university. For nearly a decade, I was a professor of business and history.

I serve on the board of directors for several Louisiana historical societies, genealogical societies, museums, and my Native American tribe.

I am a life member serving in a variety of positions in military organizations including the Association of the U.S. Army, National Guard Association of the U.S., Society of American Military Engineers, Association of Old Crows, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. I am also a life member of the National Rifle Association, founding sponsor of the National Museum of the U.S. Army, and Mensa.
