I've lived in Laurens County my whole (20 or so years..) of life. I have a deep passion for genealogy and believe it's important to remember those who came before us.

My strongest interest comes from seeing faces and lives brought back to light, whether it's an old photograph or even a mention in a newspaper from long ago. For relatives from before the mid-1800s, I do everything I can to search out drawings, articles, or written traces.

When the Georgia heat isn't trying to take me out, I love spending my time in cemeteries. There aren't many public places (besides libraries, which I love, too) that are quiet, calm, and peaceful. I hope to make it a point, before my days are over, to visit as many ancestors' graves as I can find here in Laurens County and the surrounding counties.
