About the Name:

My username, "TheDesertDevil," is less ominous than it sounds. I live in the Arizona desert and I'm an Arizona State University (the Sun Devils) alumnus — so quite literally, a Desert Devil.

Genealogy:

I'm a Lifelong genealogy enthusiast who recently decided to take family history from notebooks and paper charts into the digital world. After years of researching relatives and chasing family connections, I began contributing to Find a Grave to help document burial locations, create memorials, and reconnect families whose stories might otherwise be lost.

I've discovered firsthand how difficult genealogy can be when no burial record exists, so I enjoy helping build those missing links — both for my own family and for others searching for theirs. It's a rewarding and surprisingly fun hobby, that helps preserve history one memorial at a time.

Memorials & Photos:

I am happy to transfer memorials to closer family members upon request when I am not also related and actively maintaining the memorial. My goal is to help families preserve and share their history whenever possible. Photographs I upload are welcome to be used or shared freely for personal, historical, or genealogical purposes.
