I've been a Find a Grave user for many years, but I've only recently taken the plunge into creating memorial pages of my own, currently focusing on honoring members of my own family. It has been a meaningful way to preserve their stories and ensure they are remembered for generations to come.

For more than 15 years, I've been passionately researching my family's genealogy, piecing together our history one record, photograph, and story at a time. Like many family historians, I've found myself to be one of the few people in my family who is genuinely interested in doing the legwork to uncover, document, and preserve our family's past. While the work can sometimes be challenging, the discoveries make every hour worthwhile.

I am incredibly grateful for Find a Grave and for the countless volunteers and contributors who so generously give their time to photograph headstones, create memorials, (transfer memorials), fulfill photo requests, and preserve cemetery records. Your selfless dedication has made this website an invaluable resource for researchers, historians, and families around the world. Without your efforts, many connections and stories might have remained lost to time.
