The Montana Flaggers is a volunteer group dedicated to remembering and honoring the early pioneers and homesteaders who settled the plains, prairies, and coulees of Montana. These men and women braved harsh winters, isolation, and the challenges of frontier life to build the farms, ranches, and communities that still stand today.

Many of Montana's earliest settlers rest in small country cemeteries, family plots, or long-forgotten burial grounds. Our mission is to ensure their lives and sacrifices are not lost to time. We place flags, markers, and tokens of respect on pioneer graves, research their stories, and help preserve the history of the families who laid Montana's foundations.

By honoring the homesteaders and frontier families who shaped our state, the Montana Flaggers keeps their legacy alive for future generations.
