My original motivation to becoming a Finding a Grave member was to make connections with my family and to perhaps help others retrieve information on theirs that may not live local to their resting places.

I believe family is important and knowing where you come from can help adjust your thinking and help you in finding your own motivations/purpose.

I am really pleased and impressed with the number of people on here that are willing to take time out of their busy lives to help puzzle together old archives for the new generations to come.

I also look forward to possibly connecting with many family, peers and historians.
