I am descended from Smith (dad) and Sanders (mom). If I follow you, it's because we are related somehow down the line. If the genealogy is correct, the earliest relative I have seen so far is my Great(x6) Grandfather Stephen Sanders who died in 1857. This is beyond fascinating.
