I have been doing genealogy/ancestry research off and on for the last few years, but have really gotten a lot more serious about it in the last year. My research into my own family has taken me to different cemeteries and graveyards, and has led me to research of those outside of my family.

I started out primarily focused on my family, but through going to different cemeteries and looking through different records, I will sometimes find people whose burials or cremations have not been entered into FindAGrave. As these people are typically unknown to me and not a part of my family, sometimes I have minimal information, but nonetheless do my best to get accurate info for their memorial pages. 

Of course, I am more than happy to do any of the following:

• Transfer a memorial page of a non-family member to someone who is a relative of the deceased 
• Transfer a memorial page of a distant relative to someone of close relation (like a close cousin, niece/nephew, grandchild/great-grandchild, etc. etc.)
• Accept edit suggestions when I have incorrect or incomplete information 
• Overall respect relatives of the deceased for whom I've submitted memorial pages, information, images, etc.

Many times I will upload a headstone/grave image for a memorial that already has an image if: A) The condition of it has changed drastically since the last image was taken, B) There is only one image and it was taken 10-15+ years ago, or C) Mostly commonly I am uploading an additional image because it has GPS coordinates of the grave attached to it.

Also please note that per FindAGrave guidelines, when posting obituaries I omit names of the living. Typically I will simply erase their names and leave the relationships, so the obituary will be edited to read like "He is survived by his wife, three children, one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews" without including names of those family members. Please do not think I am trying to erase those relationships; rather, trying to keep personal information private for those still living, as often times obituaries can include lots of specific information like where people and their children live, etc.

Some typical surnames I have done or am doing research on: House, Sandel, Palmer, Anderson, McComic, Britt, Marsh, Crowell, Pruitt, and some others.
