Family history research is my primary interest here on Find-a-Grave, including the surnames:
BERNARD, BROUGHON, BROUGHTON, GHISELIN, GILLIER, KROM, LUSBY, NIMMO, SMITH, SPENCER, STANCLIFF, STRICKLAND, VINING, WILLIAMS, ZIMMER... and more
Veterans hold a special place in my heart. As such, I am actively seeking to recommend 'suggested' edits on as many as I can document to have the 'V' symbol applied to their memorial. Every single one deserves as much honor and celebration of life, and their sacrifice, as possible. I feel that way about veterans from all countries and timeframes/eras.
My memorials: At this time, I am only adding memorials for ancestors directly related to me or married into my lineage somewhere. As I run across those in that category that are currently managed by someone else, I request a transfer of the memorial to my care. The request is not meant as a critique of any kind on the care the current manager is taking. It is just that I'd be honored to take care of those for my relatives.
Suggested edits that come to my attention for memorials I manage will likely be addressed within a couple days, at most. If I request more info from you after you've made a suggestion, please don't take it personal. I believe it's important to get it right for our ancestors.
