I inherited my interest in genealogy from my mother, she was a very active genealogist and received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Michigan Genealogical Council for her work on a newspaper research project, and from the Shiawassee County Historical Society.

We all know how hard it can be when researching family or historic events, and finding nothing at all, or finding information that we know isn't true. My aim is to be as accurate as possible, but sometimes I make mistakes. If you find something wrong with my work, or something I left out, or just think I could word things better, just let me know.
