I enjoy researching genealogy in my free time.
A few of my focuses are the Uprights, who seem to have mostly resided in Illinois, Missouri, or North Carolina since immigrating to the USA.
Another focus of mine is the Huffmans. This one is trickier to research given the name's commonness. My Huffman genealogy mostly points to Southern Indiana and Western Ohio. This one is also trickier because the surnames Hoffman and Huffman are often confused. However, the bulk of my Huffman genealogy points to Acton, Indiana.
Other focuses I have are:
Widdifield (Mostly seem to be from Columbus, Ohio, from what I can gather)
Burkes or Burks (Mostly from McDowell Co, West Virginia). Also tricky because this surname is also commonly misspelled.
Lockhart (Also from West Virginia)
Perry (Columbus, Ohio)
