Just a piney from Mullica Twp, NJ born 1989. I recently went down to a part time job at the USCGTC and found out that most of my Robbins family was USCG/Life Saving Station. I went from knowing nothing of my Robbins side, to so much now! The Bass River Gazette online has helped so much, sad that they stopped in 2009. I really enjoyed the articles.
In my free time I've been visiting all of my ancestors graves. I have found that I AM The Pine Barrens with direct decendents to the following families Robbins(sailors/baymen/oyster farmers/clammers/hunters), Leeds (JDs ma and pa), Jeffries/Jeffryes/Jeffers (SO MANY JOHN JEFFRIES), Mathis (The Great John Mathis), Cramer/Cranmer, Ong (Sarah - Jacobs sister), Andrews (Mordecai and Edward), Adams, Bennett, Downs, Steelman, Boice, Haines, Blackmen, Webb - I am married into Howell/Gale/Garuffi/Brown and I am open to any help !! I love talking about anyone's family not just my own!
