I am a retired engineer and have recently become a member of Find A Grave. I have been tracing my family's geological history for over 27 years. I am researching the Bibles on my dad's side of the family and Chamber's on my mom's side of the family. Also, I am researching Welton's and Long's on my wife's side of the family. Of course there are other family names connected to these four families. I have over 1600 names in my geological data base. Much of my information has been found in courthouses and graveyards in the states where my families lived as well as research from other family members.

I enjoy the travel as well as the discovery. The best part has been finding and meeting live cousins in these families whom I would not have met otherwise. I try to keep in touch with as many of them as I can.
