I am relatively new to Genealogy. My Mother and I inherited my Grandfather's research when he passed last year. Her husband, my stepfather was the last of his line, and we possessed photos and documents from his family. In order to honor these men, we decided to embark on memorialize them through sharing photos, stories, and research to interested descendants.

When I'm not volunteering here, I am doing a deep dive into civil war era ancestors, taking care of my mother, or homesteading.
