Hi! We're a mum and daughter from the Illawarra who love spending our spare time grave hunting and fulfilling photo requests on here!
I know how much I appreciated the efforts of volunteers uploading photos for my own ancestry research when I first discovered this website.
We initially wanted to return the favour and fulfill just a few local photo requests, but now we're hooked! We really enjoy being able to help people with their family history and connect them with their relatives they're not able to visit themselves! Your messages of 'thankyous' make our week!
I'm also in the process of photographing, uploading and transcribing memorials that aren't documented on Find A Grave at all, in the hopes it reaches a family member any time in the future when they're searching for them.
