Find a grave had been something I just looked at for curious reasons until July 29th, 2026.

This day I learned my mother passed but it had been 4 years without knowing. It was only when I started researching harder to try and find her that I found that she had been added to Find a Grave. Never expected she had died. Last we heard from her was February 2022. She struggled with mental illness and there were long periods of not hearing from her. Which wasnt unusual in a lot of ways for that reason.

That being said. I have a whole new appreciation for this site and the people that volunteer every day to give the memorials the best they can. Thank you all.

If I find a memorial of someone I know personally or related to and have direct knowlege of, I will make edit suggestions for them. I will only request to manage memorials that are directly related to me or my husband.

Please be patient with me as I am just getting started with this and have a lot to learn so that I can be efficient on how to help.
