Hi I live in Louisiana - Most of my family are from West Monroe in Ouachita Parish, Jackson Parish and Shreveport (Caddo Parish),Louisiana.

My sister Sandra Emory and I and I have been interested in geneology since about 2000 and have found so many stories of those in them fascinating - as well as learning of my heritage - which has really surprised me in a lot of cases.

I have also noticed that the female identities were confusing years ago especially - because then they were identified as Mrs. and then
their husband’s name -) rather than by their own first name).
