Memorials honoring Marines who died or were declared missing and presumed dead at the battle of Boulder City, the last ground action fought by the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. The battle took place July 23-27, 1953 near the 38th parallel at a place called Ponbudong, 30 miles or so north of Seoul, Korea.They almost came home.I encourage any relative of any Marine buried in this virtual cemetery to provide any information about their relative that they deem fitting. Most biographical facts about the individuals buried in this virtual cemetery are found either at the American Battle Monuments Commission or online at Ancestry.com.
