This is some of my family that have been traced back to the 1650s on tree, but little is known about the ones still in Sweden. The earliest one that I know here in the states is Anders Gustaf Andersson (1834-1908), my gg-grandfather, born in Sweden & emigrated to America. Anders aka Andrew Gustaf Anderson worked at a distillery in Skara, then moved to Vanga, Vastergotland, south of Skara. From 1866 (possibly before) his family lived at Liggestads rote Brusagarden, Vanga until Anders and his second family went to America. Anders went to America on October 21, 1884 where he worked for the city of Superior, WI. He returned to Sweden and left again on June 14, 1892 with his family. Anders died at the home of his son Frans Wilhelm (Frank).
