This is where my father, Francis De Witt Rose is buried. His brother, Barry Pittman Rose, husband of Leona Benton Rose; his sister, Elizabeth Rose Wolter, wife of Raymond Wolter, Sr. Also resting here are my grandfather, DeWitte Rose and his wife, Florence Rowell Rose. DeWitte Rose's sister is Marion Ingram with her husband Marion Hugh Ingram. My grandfather's father is Miller Franklin Rose who is interned at Red Hill Cemetery at Duck Hill, MS. His father is Hezekiah Terrell Rose, husband of Mary Parker Rose and both of them are buried at Alva-Parker Cemetery. Terrell Rose was born in Franklin County Georgia but resided in Alabama before moving to Alva in 1833 and marrying Mary Parker in 1834.
