Mountain View and St. Patrick's Cemeteries are located side by side in the south end of Thunder Bay at the intersection of Highway 61 and Broadway Avenue. As well as traditional graves, cremation plots, a columbarium wall and carefully landscaped grounds, the 58 acres of well-maintained cemetery grounds include six military plots established for those who served in the Canadian military services. Mountain View and St. Patrick's Cemeteries have been operated since the late 1800s. They offer visitors the opportunity to view unique and historic headstones, and enjoy beautiful views of the Kaministiquia River and Nor'Wester mountains.
