This cemetery was started by John McClure; who was my great-great-grandfather, he started the cemetery as a family cemetery. His daughter, Minerva McClure married Ambrose Eller, so over the years as the family married the names of the buried in the cemetery grew, to include family surnames, Eller, Haga, Hart, Barr, Stamper, Lowe, and so on. The cemetery has never been recorded as being deeded to anyone, so as far as I know it is still listed as a family cemetery.
